Participants will gain insight into what each part of the series entails, what it means for their organization and the overall process of achieving the certification.

This course provides a quick overview of the ISO 56000 series, covering the essential components and their implications for innovation management. Participants will briefly explore each part of the ISO 56000 series, understand the significance of these standards, and learn the step-by-step process of planning, implementing, and achieving certification. The course will guide participants through the intricacies of the standards, including the principles of innovation management, the certification process, and the best practices for maintaining compliance.

By the end of the course, participants will be able to start the work and engage experts in purchasing systems, developing, implementing, and leading the process towards certification. It is a process that starts with an assessment and ends with being ready for certification.

Prerequisites and audience

Participants should be generally oriented in ISO standards and have an interest in innovation management and standardizations.

Participants should have a basic understanding of innovation management principles and processes. Prior experience in managing or participating in innovation projects, or familiarity with ISO standards, is recommended but not required.

This course is designed for innovation managers, project leaders, and other professionals responsible for implementing innovation management systems within their organizations.
