While everyone might agree that innovation is essential for an organization to thrive in today’s fast-paced business climate, few companies have a culture of innovation or a proactive approach to innovation management – which is taught in this Innovation Management Course.
What does it take to create an innovative culture?
Firstly, a complex innovation system must be designed to function in a dynamic, unpredictable environment. Secondly, a design process requires a strategy based on a careful assessment—qualitative and quantitative—of your organization’s unique characteristics. And thirdly, a correct framework to make rapid decisions once things start moving rapidly is needed. It’s likely that your organization will need to make some changes in order to foster innovation, as well.

Everyone at, or aspiring to move to, the senior level of an organization needs to take this course. It provides an excellent primer on Innovation management allowing you to see the breadth, depth and inter-connectivity between the different elements that impact an organizations ability to innovate. It provides a framework to move from a shotgun approach to organizational innovation, one without any real direction, to an intentional innovation strategy with systems and metrics to know where you are today and how far you have progressed on your innovation journey. Just enough to help you see that if you are serious about building an innovative organization you need to work to build an innovation system.
